About this event
Matadero is preparing the premiere of the La Venidera duo. On 17 and 18 October, Irene Tena and Albert Hernández will present a dance performance in which negation becomes the starting point for the new: for searching, recovery and inspiration.
Here, ‘no’ becomes an impulse for movement. The dance combines poetry and symbolism, flamenco and contemporary body language. It is a reflection on memory, identity and art as a form of resistance. The artistic partner of the project is Marcos Morau, winner of the Premio Nacional de Danza and director of La Veronal.
