Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid performance «Nascencia»

The Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid will present «Nascencia» in two stages: first, as part of the Escena Escorial festival, and then with a series of performances in the capital.

On 3 September, the show will arrive in San Lorenzo de El Escorial as part of Escena Escorial. From 24 September to 4 October, it can be seen at Teatros del Canal, within the 2026/27 season.

Choreographer Mónica Fernández has built the work around the ability to begin again after adversity. Contemporary Spanish dance meets folkloric roots and the force of flamenco here, on a journey from hurt to reconstruction and from darkness to light. The work with colour, staging and live flamenco music accompanies this transition.
