Gran Teatro Caixabank Príncipe Pío premieres a new work by the Yllana company, combining music, comedy and satire in a colourful show. The action transports the audience to the 17th and 18th centuries, where a string quartet comes to life on stage through its adventures full of humour and drama.
The protagonist is a modest supporting musician who dreams of becoming Maestrissimo. His path is full of unexpected twists, moving moments and comic situations, and through the story eternal themes are explored: the struggle for recognition, the value of art and creativity as a form of personal expression.
The work impresses through the mastery of the performances, the aesthetics of the staging and Yllana’s characteristic comic style.
