Madres is a brilliant, daring comedy in which five women find themselves shut in a school waiting room. There, isolation becomes unexpected therapy, revealing every shade of motherhood, both light and dark.

The heroines ask themselves what matters more: a career or children? And if they want both, where can they find the strength to achieve it? Each of these women is unique, because motherhood does not take a single form. In a confined space, they openly discuss what it means to be a mother in a world where the word «harmony» is often a myth.

The play, which has been performed more than 100 times at Teatro Lara, is an emotional kaleidoscope that will make you laugh, feel and truly reflect. Its characters share their experiences of raising children amid social and workplace injustice, fighting doubt and finding a balance between personal life and motherhood.
