About this event
The protagonist, one of the RAE’s cleaners, accidentally becomes an expert in language and grammar. A renowned neuroscientist wants to investigate this phenomenon and proposes subjecting the woman to a process of linguistic deprogramming. The satire invites us to consider whether linguistic competence can create marginalisation and whether the use of perfectly correct syntax can be offensive to some people. Ernesto Caballero has created an acerbic portrait of present-day Spain and speaks of how nobody should follow grammatical rules.
