Show «La Canción del Olvido»

At Teatro Amaya, the zarzuela La Canción del Olvido is staged, a story in which the strict discipline of the military garrison gradually gives way to personal feelings. At the centre of the plot is the encounter between Leonello, convinced of his immunity to love, and Rosina, whose independence and wit break that order.

The staging is structured around the contrast between the characters, certain touches of irony and musical scenes in which the choruses and melodies set the pace of the action. The work is presented as part of the 5th Zarzuela and Opera Festival, which brings together classic works of musical theatre.
