Musical «Beauty and the Beast»

Teatro Sanpol presents a magical adaptation of the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast, in which love and kindness overcome even the most terrible obstacles. The work, based on the work of the Italian writer Giovanni Straparola, tells of the astonishing transformation of the young Belle, who, to save her father, decides to live alone with an ugly creature. However, the more she discovers his inner world, the stronger her attachment becomes, and the ugly form transforms into something much deeper and more moving.

Under the direction of Ana Maria Budeger, the production acquires a special magic. The revitalised sets and skilfully chosen lighting enhance the magic, creating a unique atmosphere in which this familiar fairy tale appears in a new light, exciting and truly moving for both children and adults.
