The spirit of the Siglo de Oro comes to life at Teatro Comedia: Joven Compañía de Teatro Clásico invites audiences to a place of encounters, passions and conversations where theatre becomes a celebration.

Until 18 May, Joven Compañía de Teatro Clásico revives at Teatro Comedia the treasures of the Siglo de Oro, from María de Zayas to Lope de Vega.
Under the direction of actress and director Cristina Marín-Miro, the actors offer audiences a light, colourful production about friendship, love, betrayal and generosity.
Their new work, «La alojería», is a journey to the 17th century, when going to the theatre was more like a party: with a boisterous audience, conversations, laughter and snacks at street stalls: the “alojerías”.
