Teatro Lara proposes a different way of approaching the History of Spain with a comedy that travels from Atapuerca to the present day through a fast-paced, entertaining production full of detail.
Three actors bring more than 70 characters to life through intensive performance work, combining costume changes, visual devices and dynamic set design that accompanies every era of the journey. Kings, explorers, artists and key figures from history appear in a succession of scenes where historical rigour coexists with irony and a critical perspective.
The result of extensive documentary research, the show reviews the best-known moments as well as those less expected episodes that help to understand the country’s evolution.
