On 2 May, Espacio Madriz presents the piquant and tear-jerking comedy Guarnición de Mentiras.
The protagonist, Mari, dreams of a promotion, but instead of a professional boost she receives a cocktail of misunderstandings, lies and personal dramas. Her spouse is not delighted, her boss is like a nightmare and the truth is becoming increasingly difficult to hide beneath a respectable façade.
This production is like a dinner with an unexpected surprise: amusing at first, then uncomfortable and cathartic at the end. Suitable for anyone who has ever tried to please everybody and become tangled in their own excuses.
