Contemporary dance performance by Chaillot Theatre National de la Danse

Discover “Contre-nature”, the avant-garde production by Chaillot Théâtre national de la Danse and Rachid Ouramdane, from 26 February to 1 March 2025 at Nave 11.

In this new work, choreographer Rachid Ouramdane invites us to rethink the essence of movement through aerial gestures and the convergence of styles. Featuring 10 performers from Chaillot Théâtre national de la Danse, the production brings together a diversity of techniques and backgrounds to create a language of its own, where dance becomes a means of evoking memories, from the innocence of childhood to the wisdom of old age. The bare stage becomes a canvas, enhanced by lighting that projects images onto the mist, bringing to life a show that challenges the boundaries between the earthly and the ethereal.
