Teatro La Usina presents «The Picture of Dorian Gray», a theatrical version of the story of a man who decides to preserve his youth at any price. The action centres on a young aristocrat whose face remains unchanged, while his portrait gradually takes on the traces of the life he has lived and the decisions he has made.
The staging focuses on the protagonist’s inner conflict and on how the desire to stop time becomes the loss of oneself. The theatre’s intimate space makes this story especially intense and close to the spectator.
