Ballet Clásico Internacional’s “Swan Lake” show
The story of Odette and Prince Siegfried will come to life again in Madrid: this summer, “Swan Lake” will return to Teatro Gran Vía with Ballet Clásico Internacional.

Until 2 August, Teatro Gran Vía de Madrid will once again host the ballet “Swan Lake”, performed by the Ballet Clásico Internacional company. Audiences will be able to enjoy a classical staging, with spectacular scenery and an international cast of dancers.
The work tells the story of Princess Odette, the victim of an evil sorcerer’s spell that condemns her to live transformed into a swan. Only the power of true love can restore her human form, and with that hope her meeting with Prince Siegfried begins. With music by Piotr Ilich Chaikovski, this ballet, premiered in 1877, remains one of the most emblematic works in the classical repertoire.
The production is by Ballet Clásico Internacional, directed by Tatiana Solovieva Producciones, a company that has spent more than three decades promoting classical ballet in Spain. The show features dancers trained at and with careers in some of the world’s most prestigious theatres and companies, such as the Bolshoi Theatre, the Mariinsky Theatre, the National Ballet of China and the Philadelphia Ballet.
