‘The Effect’ performance

From 9 to 20 April, Teatros del Canal will host the thrilling and provocative production ‘The Effect’. This play explores the limits of love and ethics through the lens of a scientific experiment.

The protagonists, Connie and Tristan, participants in a clinical trial, begin to question the reality of their feelings. Is the love they feel for one another real, or merely a side effect of a new antidepressant? The play raises important questions about human emotions and chemistry, and about how drugs and science can interfere in our relationships.
