«Come from away» Show

The moving play finally arrives in Madrid after a meteoric success on Broadway. This Argentinian production will surprise us with a live orchestra; it is directed by Carla Calabrese and produced by The Stage Company.

It is a story about a world where borders and wars cannot stop the evolution of the human spirit. It is based on real people, which makes it even more moving. It tells the true story of more than 7,000 people from around the world who came to the island of Gander. We will see the solidarity with which they were received by local people. On 11 September 2001, after the tragic events, the skies over North America were closed and thirty-eight planes landed on this island. The world witnessed one of the worst events in history, but the local people showed the passengers that the world could be different and restored their faith in humanity.
