Eduardo Guerrero’s show “Códigos”

From 3 to 6 September, Eduardo Guerrero will present the show “Códigos” at Madrid’s Teatro Fígaro. On stage, the dancer will be joined by singer José del Calli and guitarist Pino Losada. Four performances are scheduled in total.

In his new work, Guerrero draws on the fundamental elements of flamenco and explores how they are transformed through his personal interpretation. Dance, singing and guitar retain their traditional forms, but are placed in a different stage setting and enter into dialogue with a new choreographic proposal.

The structure of the show revolves around three colours. White symbolises the beginning, grey is connected with search and experience, while black brings this journey to a close and, at the same time, opens a new stage. Guerrero uses colour as part of the stage language and gradually transforms the space and character of the staging.
