Caperucita en Manhattan show

Red Riding Hood in Manhattan is a story about maturity in the face of the challenges of adulthood. Carmen Martín Gaite’s production presents a manifesto about not giving up and remaining a child.

The story on stage unfolds in New York, where a girl from Brooklyn dreams of Manhattan. Every Saturday, she goes there with her mother to take strawberry cake to her grandmother. However, Sarah longs to conquer this island on her own and, one day, decides to set off alone in search of adventure.

It is a work for young people and adults that is relevant in the present day: when we want to find ourselves, when women occupy public spaces and when we face the difficult daily task of choosing a path.
