Musical «Trapped in the office XL»

In the Sala Lola Membrives at Teatro Lara, audiences will enjoy a musical comedy featuring hits from the 1980s performed by Ricky Merino, Sergio Campoy, Noelia Marló and Candela Solé. The play tells the story of an unusual day: during a severe storm, mobile communications and the electronic systems on the office doors stop working, leaving the four employees trapped. They include an ambitious and arrogant chief executive, a tired feminist receptionist, an absurd and contradictory human-resources director, and a messenger.

Their only window onto the outside world is an old radio holding 1980s hits such as Take on Me, Message in a Bottle, Footloose and Eternal Flame. Music becomes the element that brings the characters together, revealing their personalities, conflicts, humour and emotional confrontations, and turning a simple confinement into a fun, moving adventure full of music.
