Ignasi Vidal directs his version of American Buffalo, the emblematic work by American playwright David Mamet, with Israel Elejalde, David Lorente and Roberto Hoyo bringing to life characters who survive amid uncomfortable silences and half-formed plans.

The plot is set in a seedy bar, in real time. There, three men try to escape mediocrity by clinging to improvised theories and dreams that seem doomed to fail. Mamet, true to his style, builds the drama in the pauses, in what is not said and in the small cracks in conversations that seem trivial... until the tension explodes.

For Vidal, the challenge lies in capturing that blend of rawness and humanity, in showing how the insignificant can conceal an emotional hurricane. The result promises an experience of pure theatre: direct, unfiltered and full of truth.
