The spirit of the flamenco tablao will take centre stage on a special night at Veranos de la Villa.

The Cloister of Instituto San Isidro will host the show Alma de Tablao. Cradle and memory of flamenco on 28 July, one of Veranos de la Villa’s proposals dedicated to asserting the tablao as one of the spaces where this art has grown, evolved and been passed down from generation to generation.
The production, promoted by the Asociación de Tablaos Flamencos de Madrid, will bring together outstanding flamenco dancers, singers, guitarists and musicians on stage in a journey through the essence of flamenco. Tradition and contemporary creation will come together in a production conceived to bring the atmosphere and energy of Madrid’s historic tablaos to the public.
Among the participating artists will be David Paniagua, Gema Moneo, Pol Vaquero, Paloma Fantova, José Carmona «Rapico», Paula Moreno, Salvador Barrul, Ángel Gabarre, Antonio Fernández, Joni Jiménez, Jesús Núñez and violinist Fernando Rico. The project also has the collaboration of some of the capital’s most emblematic tablaos, such as Corral de la Morería, Torres Bermejas, Las Carboneras, Las Tablas, La Carmela and Teatro Flamenco Madrid.
