Musical «Alicia en el país de las maravillas»

The stage at Sala Cándido Lara opens its doors once again to the world of fantasy: the fourth season of the musical based on Lewis Carroll's legendary tale begins here. Teatro La Maquineta turns the classic story into a dazzling spectacle, with a whirlwind of dreams, mischief and magic, where the limits of reality fade away and madness sounds in unison with music.

On stage, the story of Alicia unfolds once more: a brave dreamer who one day decides to follow Sr. Conejo and finds herself on the other side of logic. There, where time plays hide-and-seek and common sense sleeps under a tree, Oruga Azul, the mysterious Gato de Cheshire and a cheerful tea party in honour of the NO CUMPLEAÑOS with Sombrerero Loco y Humpty Dumpty await her.

Spectacular costumes, colourful dancing and light humour, understandable for both children and adults, await the audience. This musical, full of fantasy, warmth and charm, won the Premio Nacional de Teatro 2010 and was nominated twice for the «Teatro Musical» award.
