About this event
In the show Alegría, observe the conflict between the established order and a new movement yearning for hope and rebirth. The kingdom has lost its king, and now the aristocrats and an imaginary king claiming the throne are on the same side. Facing them, a new and humane movement takes to the streets and challenges the established authority.
Since its premiere in 1994, the company founded by Gilles Ste-Croix and Guy Laliberté has become an international phenomenon. The connection between this legendary production and our country is dreams, unique opportunities and an audience in love with the show. All Spaniards are inspired by the verses sung by Francesco Gagnon.
Acrobatic choreography, sets reimagined from vivid surrealism and the very ‘storm of happiness’ that appears like a ‘great cry’ will make all of Spain fall in love with Alegría; it awaits you.
