Until 27 December, a new version of the legendary story of Cruella can be seen at the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío. The show turns the classic tale into a bold production with urban rhythms, hip-hop and a 1990s atmosphere, where fashion, ambition and «likes» become weapons.

At the heart of the plot is Cruella De Vil, a world-class influencer who is about to achieve digital success. But everything changes when her friend and social-media manager, Anita, decides to leave the team and launch her own project: an account with Dalmatians that quickly conquers social media. When the puppies become the new sensation and Cruella loses the public’s attention, a ruthless game begins for influence, fame and a place in the digital sun.

The musical show based on the story by Dodi Smith reveals a world in which popularity is the currency of exchange and friendship faces the hunger for recognition.
