‘Las Noches de Río Babel’ festival

Río Babel expands its universe beyond its summer festival with a new concert series that will bring Spanish-language music to some of Madrid’s most emblematic venues from 4 September to 13 November.

Under the name Las Noches de Río Babel, the proposal will bring together more than 30 performances in venues such as Movistar Arena, La Riviera, Teatro Eslava, Café Berlín, Sala Villanos and Siroco, among others. The series connects artists from Spain and Latin America through a programme bringing together rock, alternative pop, rap, singer-songwriter music and roots sounds.

The line-up combines established names and new generations from the Spanish-speaking scene. Highlights include Jorge Drexler, Guitarricadelafuente, Miranda!, Trueno, La Bien Querida, No Te Va Gustar, Depedro, Los Palmeras, Lido Pimienta and Las Pastillas del Abuelo.

More than a series of concerts, Las Noches de Río Babel seeks to keep the spirit of the festival alive throughout the year: a meeting point between cultures, styles and audiences united by Spanish-language music.
