Festival “IBEROEXPERIA SESSIONS: La Muchacha”

IBEROEXPERIA SESSIONS announces the programme for its 2026 series at Casa Fulô, in which one of the concerts will be dedicated to the Colombian project La Muchacha. This musical expression emerges from deep research into roots. Here, personal intonation is inseparably linked to the region’s collective memory. Together with double bassist, guitarist and composer Miguel Velásquez, La Muchacha builds a vibrant stage space at the crossroads of folklore, popular music and current global trends. In this dialogue, voice and instruments act as equal partners, giving rise to a dense, dynamic musical tapestry.

La Muchacha’s work addresses important themes: the defence of life, the resistance of communities and the profound bond between human beings and the land. At the same time, the artist does not renounce love, humour and satire, which allow her to speak of what is complex without losing humanity and warmth.

After a successful first European tour in 2021, which sold out in Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, La Muchacha regularly returns to Spain with new programmes.

IBEROEXPERIA aims to present the best of the contemporary music scene from Latin America, Portugal and Spain. We hope that the concerts in the 2026 series, produced by Casa Fulô, may be genuine discoveries and invite you to gain a greater awareness of Ibero-America’s powerful musical identity. In past editions we have presented artists such as Systema Solar (Colombia), Carlinhos Brown (Brazil), Aterciopelados (Colombia), Eskorzo (Spain), iLe (Puerto Rico), Ana Tijoux (Chile), Caloncho (Mexico), Duda Beat (Brazil), El Kanka (Spain), Ximena Sariñana (Mexico), Chambao (Spain), among others. In this new edition, the proposal remains the same: Open your ears and let yourselves be carried away by new sounds. Come in and enjoy!

Within the framework of IBEROEXPERIA SESSIONS 2026, performances by Liniker from Brazil, Los Amigos Invisibles from Venezuela, La Yegros from Argentina and Estrella Morente from Spain are also planned. The programme brings together the region’s most diverse musical languages: from pop, funk and disco to flamenco, folklore and electronic music. The result is a brilliant, multifaceted panorama of the contemporary Ibero-American scene.
