Gran Feria Medieval in El Álamo

Throughout the day, thousands of people will be able to enjoy cultural events. Both the town and the people of El Álamo will dress up to experience a medieval era filled with festivities. One of the fair's main attractions will be the street parades, a fun opening bringing together musical groups, street theatre, circus and dance. The streets will be a constant stage for various processions filled with music and colour.

Around 200 craftspeople will present their handmade products, offering visitors the chance to buy art, decorations or everyday items, as well as watch how they are made. For younger visitors, there will be a children's area near the Ermita with traditional games and workshops. The fair will have numerous food stalls where visitors can sample barbecued food and traditional dishes, bread baked in a wood-fired oven, pickles and candyfloss.

The Gran Torneo de Salto de Obstáculos will be one of the highlights, a grand spectacle demonstrating the riders' equestrian skills. This event will be followed by horse races and sword fights on foot.
