Festival «France is on Screen»
At the Institut Français theatre, French films not yet released in Spanish cinemas will be screened for several consecutive days.
About this event
Madrid will host a new edition of the «France is on Screen» festival, devoted to contemporary French cinema. For several days, the Institut Français theatre will become a space for premieres, talks about cinema and encounters with directors and actors.
The programme includes films not yet released in Spain, from documentaries to dramas and auteur stories. After the screenings, the audience can stay to talk with the films' creators and festival participants.
A specific section will be devoted to the audiovisual industry: in collaboration with ECAM FORUM, debates will be held on Franco-Spanish co-productions, film distribution, audiences and literary adaptations. In addition, several French international sales companies will travel to Madrid to meet representatives of the Spanish audiovisual sector.
