San Isidro Fair 2026

In Madrid, the Las Ventas bullring opens a cycle that will become the great event of spring and the beginning of summer. The San Isidro Fair 2026 will be held from 8 May to 14 June and will bring together the leading figures of bullfighting worldwide.

The programme includes 21 bullfights, 3 novilladas with picadors and 2 mounted bullfighting events. The cycle includes breaks on 11, 18 and 25 May, as well as on 1 June. As a prelude, the Community of Madrid Fair is held from 1 to 3 May, with two novilladas and a bullfight in Goya-style format.

The bill features 58 participants: 44 matadors, 5 rejoneadors and 9 novilleros with picadors. In addition, 23 cattle breeders take part, with different bloodlines and several repeat appearances throughout the cycle.

From 1 to 3 May, the Community of Madrid Fair will take place, opening with novilladas and culminating in the 2 May bullfight, the traditional starting point of the season at Las Ventas.
