The Forest of Wishes
In the very centre of Madrid, in Plaza de Pontejos, the Forest of Wishes will appear, where twinkling fir trees hold the dreams of Madrid residents and create a true festive atmosphere.
About this event
This winter, the Forest of Wishes opens in Plaza de Pontejos. Here, everyone can leave a note with their wish on one of the 12 illuminated fir trees, one for each metro line.
Cheerful elves, musicians and jugglers await children and adults, helping them write their wish and carefully hang it on the tree. “Wishes that come from the heart come true,” say the organisers.
This year, for the first time, the Forest of Wishes invites visitors into an open space where they can feel the warmth of the celebration, see the twinkling lights and share their dreams with others.
