«European Music Day» Festival
In June, Matadero will switch back into music mode for several nights: concerts will continue well into the night and, between stages, flamenco, electronic music, indie and new Spanish pop will mingle.

From 19 to 21 June, Matadero Madrid will once again become one of the city's main musical hubs: DEMM, a festival dedicated to European Music Day and the summer solstice, will take place here.
For three nights, Plaza Matadero will become an open-air stage with concerts of new Spanish music, from indie and flamenco to electronic music, post-punk and experimental pop. This year's programme includes Maria Arnal with her audiovisual project AMA, Ángeles Toledano, Rita Payés and Lucía Fumero, who will present for the first time in Madrid a joint project midway between jazz and folk, as well as pablopablo, Alizzz, Depresión Sonora, Gazzi and Akazie.
In addition to the evening performances, the festival includes a daytime programme for families: concerts by Le Parody and La Fantástica Banda will take place in Sala de Columnas.
