Buenas noches: Open-air performing arts festival

From 12 July to 23 August, Hoyo de Manzanares transforms its streets and squares into stages open to the public, with a cultural programme designed for every taste. Throughout July and August, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a selection of free shows combining tradition, innovation and great talent.

The programme includes very different offerings: from the delicacy of Camerata Da Vinci with its Música Nocturna, to the power of flamenco with Dorantes on piano and an explosive collaboration between violinist Maureen Choi and flamenco dancer Karen Lugo. The theatrical touches of Rojo, a poetic clown piece by Mireia Miracle, will not be missing, nor will the premiere of the lyrical production Tacet: ¡Silencio hasta el final! by Hoyópera. The music will continue with the modern boleros of Alma Mía, and the festive closing will come with the Spanish dance show Y que nos quiten lo bailao, by DSYR Espectáculos.

In addition to the performing arts, the festival is completed by a delicious culinary offering under the slogan «Hoyo está buenísimo», where attendees can taste meat from the Guadarrama mountains, homemade tapas and dishes with a local stamp. A perfect excuse to support zero-kilometre gastronomy.

Open-air cinema will also take centre stage. Every Tuesday until 20 August, films for the whole family will be screened. In July, screenings will begin at 22:30, while in August they will start at 22:00. Selected titles include Wonka, Garfield: la película, Big, Del revés 2, Cazafantasmas: Imperio Helado, Aquaman y el reino perdido, Padre no hay más que uno 4 and Esta casa es una ruina. With free admission and a privileged natural setting, Hoyo de Manzanares invites you to experience a different summer, full of culture, flavour and a good atmosphere.
