5th edition of Bailando por Madrid

On 15 June, a dance parade will begin at Madrid’s Puerta del Sol and travel through the city centre to Plaza de Oriente. The dancers will follow the route to the rhythm of music, without stopping on the same stage, but moving from one street to another.

In the fifth edition of «Bailando por Madrid», couples and groups will perform chotis, pasodoble, as well as jive and swing. In this edition, dance becomes part of the city’s movement and accompanies the route itself, rather than a specific stage.

The project is organised by the «Date un Respiro» academy, with the participation of the Moratalaz orchestra and the Sauce de Tetuán dance school. Live music will accompany the procession throughout the route.
