Psymposium Madrid 2025. Innovation in Mental Health, Neuroscience and Psychedelics
Researchers, clinicians and communicators from around the world will discuss the present and future of psychedelic therapies at the Ilustre Colegio de Médicos de Madrid.

From 2 to 4 October 2025, Madrid will host Psymposium Madrid 2025, an international event that will bring together leading voices from the scientific and medical fields to discuss the use of psychedelics in mental health. The congress, to be held at the headquarters of the Ilustre Colegio de Médicos (ICOMEM), will open an urgent and rigorous space for reflection on new ways of understanding psychological and psychiatric care.
Organised by Fundación INAWE, the gathering is intended to become a leading forum. Over three days, speakers such as David Erritzøe (Imperial College London), Liliana Galindo (Cambridge Psychedelic Research Group), Marcela Otálora (MAPS) and the Spaniard José Carlos Bouso will present the scientific and therapeutic advances redefining contemporary neuroscience and psychiatry.
The programme will include keynote lectures, clinical dialogues, case studies, round tables and patient testimonies. From the scientific foundations of the therapeutic use of substances such as psilocybin and MDMA to the legal and regulatory barriers that research in Spain still faces, the congress seeks to connect science, politics and human experience around a single goal: transforming mental health on the basis of evidence.
Psymposium Madrid 2025 will be held in person and online, and tickets are already available. Coinciding with World Mental Health Day, this event seeks not only answers, but also to open up new questions that guide change.
