The fifth edition of the Renacen festival begins in Madrid, devoted to Renaissance and Baroque art and offering the public an exciting immersion in the world of early music and theatre.

Fundación Carlos de Amberes y Garcilasos presents the fifth edition of the «Renacen. Music from the Renaissance to the Baroque» Festival. This year's Barroca Renacentista music programme will feature Pilar Almale and Iris Askinecker on the Foundation's stage.
In April, a recital by lutenist Florent Mari, Italy, mirror of Europe, will reveal the musical connections of the Renaissance.
On 24 April, Quadrivium Ensemble will perform a programme on chromaticism in English sacred polyphony, presenting a journey from the medieval style to the influence of continental music.
