About this event
Every Saturday at 20:30 at El Café de la Ópera, the public becomes part of a magical show, “A Sung Dinner”, in which tenors, sopranos and mezzo-sopranos perform the most famous opera arias and zarzuelas. Accompanied by a pianist, they not only offer good music, but also share fascinating stories about the works.
It is the perfect place for a special evening, which is always renewed with a new gastronomic proposal inspired by the great operas. This season, for example, the menu is imbued with the passion of La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, whose famous gypsy chorus scene comes to life in every note and every dish.
Located near Teatro Real and the Royal Palace, El Café de la Ópera is a place where perfect acoustics, hypnotising music and exquisite food create an ideal atmosphere for a romantic dinner or celebration.
