Belgian punk quartet Maria Iskariot is preparing its debut album and embarking on its first tour of Spain, which will begin in Madrid on 20 January at El Sol.
The group has quickly become a sensation on the European underground scene thanks to its explosive punk rock and witty, biting lyrics, with no easy answers, only bold reflections on today’s world. Frontwoman and guitarist Helena Cazaerck brings charisma and energy to the songs, turning each concert into a true storm of emotions.
The album Wereldwaan, which will go on sale on 31 October through the Montgrí label, will form the basis of the tour. Audiences can prepare for an honest, dynamic and unpredictable punk musical experience.
