International Piano Festival “Madrid a Tempo”

From 1 to 6 September, the second edition of the International Piano Festival “Madrid a Tempo” will be held in Madrid: six days of concerts, masterclasses and open sessions taking place at different points across the city. The festival headquarters will be the Centro de Educación Musical Federico Moreno Torroba in Carabanchel, where more than 400 hours of classes in total will be given by teachers from the Real Conservatorio de Madrid, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt de Weimar.

Open Piano D11 deserves special mention: on 5 September, a grand piano will be installed at Puente de Toledo, where anyone who wishes may sit down and play whatever they want, with no registration or prior selection.
