A major celebration of LGBTIQ+ pride dedicated to showcasing diversity returns to Madrid once again.
About this event
From 28 June to 7 July, Madrid will host the LGBTIQ+ Pride Festival, dedicated to discussing and showcasing LGBTIQ+ pride. Every year, the Spanish capital becomes a city open to the world.
The main event of the LGBTIQ+ Pride celebration is the State LGBTIQ Pride March. The demonstration is scheduled for 6 July. Through it, Madrid will become an international benchmark for equality, diversity and freedom. Its aim is to strengthen tolerance and respect for LGBTIQ+ equality, although the event is also marked by a festive atmosphere created by carnival floats and music. There will be music, dance, theatre and painting in the streets of the capital. Madrilenians will enjoy a free culture that will highlight the importance of freedom and equality.
