Leonor de Lera will guide a musical journey through mythical Arcadia, performing Baroque works that will transport listeners to the Italian Renaissance.
About this event
The Royal Chapel of the Royal Palace of Madrid will host a Leonor de Lera concert on 31 March as part of the 35th International Festival of Sacred Art. The violinist, who specialises in early Baroque music, will present a programme entitled Arcadia, which will immerse the public in the mythological world of Arcadia through works by the great Italian composers of the 17th century: Monteverdi, Falconeri, Verdelot and Caccini.
The sounds of the Baroque violin and the chapel’s magical atmosphere will create a unique combination of myth and music.
