On 18 September, a walk around the templo de Debod area can include a stop to enjoy flamenco. At 20:00, Israel Galván will present «SOLO», a show in which the dancer himself becomes a musician: his movements and the sound of his steps create their own rhythm. The performance will be part of the municipal 21Distritos programme and will be free.
Galván is known for his experimental approach to flamenco, and «SOLO» allows him to explore new possibilities with freedom. Premiered in Paris in 2007, the show has continued to evolve. The venue also influences each performance: the piece is designed to adapt to a museum, a courtyard, or a church, establishing a dialogue with the space that hosts it.
