Plaza Pedro Zerolo stage

From 1 to 4 July, Plaza de Pedro Zerolo will once again be one of the main hubs of MADO 2026. The Pregón, the traditional opening ceremony of Madrid Pride, will be held here, and over the following days the stage will be devoted to Chueca’s most emblematic venues, which will bring their shows, drag performances and parties to the square.

On 1 July, La Plexy, a legend of the Spanish drag scene, will open the festival. That same night, MADO 2026’s official anthem will be presented, and the central event will be the Pregón, dedicated this year to LGTBIQ+ cinema. Actress Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, together with directors, actors and other representatives of the Spanish film industry, will take part in the ceremony. The day will conclude with a performance by Puerto Rican singer Kany García and the drag show ‘Somos Chueca’.

On 2 July, the square will host some of Chueca’s most popular parties. The programme includes ‘Tombolón Maricón’, the show ‘Forajidos con Esencia’ and ‘Orgullosxs y Conectadxs’.

On 3 July, the public can enjoy LL Show Bar All Stars, Belover Party, FieStar Pride 2026 and the show ‘Revoluciona Tus Sentidos’. The programme will conclude on 4 July with La Noche del Orgullo, Maravillas de Maravillas, the electronic-music show Full Republik Energy and Delirio Millennial Night.
