Plaza de España stage

From 2 to 5 July, Plaza de España will once again be at the centre of Madrid Pride celebrations. One of the main stages of MADO 2026 will be installed here, bringing together concerts, themed shows, fashion parades and performances by artists from different countries over four nights.

This space will also have a special characteristic: it will be the festival’s only venue with a drinks service. The most emblematic bars of the Chueca neighbourhood will move part of their offering to the square, allowing visitors to take a break between concerts without leaving the festive atmosphere.

2 July: a Eurovision-inspired night

The programme will begin with Pridevisión, a musical gala inspired by the Eurovision universe. Young talents, guest artists and contestants from different editions of the competition will perform on stage. The evening will be presented by the charismatic drag performer Nacha la Macha and will be marked by music, freedom of expression and the spirit of Pride.

3 July: Mr. Gay España final

Friday will bring the grand final of Mr. Gay España, one of the programme’s most eagerly awaited events. In addition to choosing the winner, the public will enjoy musical performances and moments charged with emotion. The night will culminate in the traditional Campanadas de la Diversidad, followed by a fireworks display lighting up the sky over Plaza de España.

4 July: a celebration of Latin music

Saturday will be devoted to Orgullo Latino, an event bringing together artists from Spain and different Latin American countries. The night will offer a broad variety of musical styles, from contemporary pop to the most danceable rhythms.

Confirmed artists include Mon Laferte, Lali, Fey, Monsieur Periné, Yadam, Edith Salazar, Diana Hoyos, Tiago Raul, Naíza and LaTorre, as well as several dance groups and DJs.

5 July: the festival’s grand closing

The final day of MADO will begin with several concerts and continue with the Desfile de la Diversidad, combining fashion, music and different artistic proposals. The programme will include, among other events, the «Hombres con falda» parade and the collections of several Spanish designers.

The final flourish will come with performances by Pasión Vega, Estrella and The Dolls and Jota Carajota, as well as the collective performance of the song «Sé quién eres», which will bring symbolic closure to Pride 2026. The celebration will conclude with the official closing ceremony around midnight.
