Eric Clapton returns to Spain to perform his legendary hits live and immerse Madrid in the atmosphere of classic rock and blues.
About this event
The legendary British guitarist, singer and songwriter Eric Clapton will perform in Madrid on 7 May as part of his European tour, for the first time in more than 20 years. The public will enjoy an evening of his most emblematic hits, including Tears in Heaven, Layla, Wonderful Tonight and other songs that have marked more than sixty years of the musician’s career.
Clapton began his musical career in the 1960s with The Yardbirds, then played with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, founded the supergroup Cream and subsequently took part in the projects Blind Faith, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends and Derek and the Dominos. In 1970 he released his first solo album, beginning a successful career that included such emblematic works as Slowhand, 461 Ocean Boulevard and Unplugged, earning him Grammy awards and worldwide recognition.
