About this event
This group, the foremost representative of traditional Cuban music, was founded in 1995. It is a perfect synthesis of three voices, three-string instruments and percussion. The result is a unique, authentic Caribbean sound.
Today, it is the best band to hear at Casa de la Trova in Santiago de Cuba. The band has built a solid reputation on the island and continues to grow. It has won two Latin Grammy Awards: in 2015 for the album “No quiero llanto. Tributo a Los Compadres” and in 2018 for the album “A mi qué. Tributo a los clásicos cubanos”.
And now, some of the most important exponents of traditional Cuban music travel to the capital to win us over with their sound.
