Flamenco in Madrid takes a fresh breath: the Círculo Flamenco de Madrid concert series brings together a living tradition and leading artists from the scene, from virtuoso guitarists to flamenco singers with deep roots in Andalusian culture.
About this event
The Círculo Flamenco de Madrid cultural association launches a new concert series dedicated to authentic flamenco. Until June, masters of the genre will perform at Teatro Flamenco Madrid, combining tradition and stage passion.
The participants include guitarist Daniel Casares, who has recorded eight albums and collaborated with Dulce Pontes; flamenco singer Ana «La Yia», who combines academic training with folk depth; and Gypsy flamenco singer Pedro Montoya «El Chanchita», who will be accompanied by the distinguished guitarist Diego del Morao.
Since 2013, Círculo Flamenco de Madrid has been creating in the capital a space for top-level concerts and thoughtful dialogue about flamenco.
