Bikôkô concert

The contemporary music scene is enriched this summer by the magnetic presence of Bikôkô, a singer, producer and songwriter who will perform at Instituto San Isidro in Madrid. Bikôkô’s artistic name is no coincidence: it comes from a Cameroonian family tradition in which every male child receives a symbolic surname. Her father was named “Bikôkô”, which means “dusk” and represents the end of a stage. By adopting it as her artistic name, the artist wanted to mark a clear separation between her personal identity and her creative side, turning that inheritance into an act of affirmation.

The result is a deeply personal, avant-garde sonic project.
