Screening of the documentary ‘Santuario’
The ‘Miradas a la Tierra’ series will host the only screening of the film Santuario, which tells the story of the global campaign to create the largest marine sanctuary in the Southern Ocean.

Fundación Casa de México en España and Iberdrola invite you to an exclusive screening of the documentary Santuario on 7 May. Following the screening, the audience will attend a discussion with Carlota Escutia Dotti, Doctor of Marine Sciences, and Enric Sala, a National Geographic researcher.
This film is not only a chronicle of the Arctic Sunrise expedition to the icy waters of Antarctica, but a true manifesto in defence of the planet's last wild corner. Javier and Carlos Bardem enter the Southern Ocean to make the dream of the largest marine reserve a reality. Science, politics and the power of public opinion are the three elements driving this story. Will they manage to tip the world towards nature? Be the first to find out!
