On 29 April, Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium will host the first semi-final match, in which Atlético de Madrid will face Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Diego Simeone’s team returns to this phase of the Champions League after nine seasons. They qualified for the semi-finals after beating Barcelona. Arsenal reached this stage of the tournament after defeating Sporting de Portugal in the quarter-finals.
The clubs have already faced each other in a European competition. In the 2017/18 season they met in the Europa League, and the Madrid team then progressed to the semi-finals.
In the other semi-final, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich will face each other. The winners of both ties will meet in the final on 30 May in Budapest, at the Puskás Aréna stadium.
