40th Torneo de Históricos del Fútbol Catalán
The Torneo de Históricos del Fútbol Catalán reaches its 40th edition, established as one of the most emblematic events of the footballing summer. From 3 to 9 August, the Municipal del Guinardó will bring together twelve teams representing different tiers of Catalan football, offering a week of competition where tradition and talent meet again.
About this event
The tournament will feature historic clubs such as Europa, Sant Andreu, Badalona, L'Hospitalet, Júpiter, Horta, Sants, Prat, Martinenc, Montañesa, Vilanova and Reus FC Reddis. Beyond the results, the competition has become a showcase for closely following the start of the season and discovering each team’s new signings.
The first four matchdays will be devoted to the group stage, while the semi-finals will be played on 8 August. The competition will culminate on 9 August with a final that will decide the champion of this edition.
With four decades of history, the Torneo de Históricos keeps its spirit intact: bringing together some of the clubs with the deepest roots in Catalan football in an atmosphere where sporting rivalry coexists with respect for tradition and the passion of the fans.
