Barcelona is getting ready for a spring celebration that brings together style, creativity and urban energy: on 12 April, the traditional Hat Walk will take place, celebrating its 22nd edition. Participants will walk through the city centre streets, setting off from Rambla de Catalunya, next to Diagonal, near the “Jirafa Coqueta” sculpture, and will finish the walk at Plaça de Catalunya.

The rule is simple: you must cover your head with elegant top hats, berets, fun or extravagant headpieces. Participation is free, no registration is required and the atmosphere promises to be festive, musical and inspiring.

It is a unique opportunity to stroll around the city, show off your favourite hat, welcome spring and be part of a parade inspired by New York’s Easter Parade, which has become one of Barcelona’s favourite spring traditions over the years.
